the breakfast selection was acceptable with both western and eastern choices.
the rooms had a mildew smell i didnt like and the outdated decor was a problem. the bed also was really hard and caused my partner back pain, so i wasn't pleased.

the hotel's location was superb. it was just steps from the train station (so convenient!). the staff helped me fill out the luggage transport form with such patience. the room was spacious and clean.
the room felt outdated. it looked a bit tired and worn (i hoped for something fresher). there was no lounge area at all. the breakfast room layout was not ideal with seating at long tables like a school canteen. there were no separate tables for privacy.

the staff were helpful. i could leave my suitcases at the hotel before check-in, useful. when there was an earthquake, the staff moved me from the 10th floor for peace of mind (i really appreciated it).
